Adorable Man: Tu Strange (2025-2026)

Adelaide Fringe, PentaDoor (Taipei)

A mischievous fusion of magic, circus, and clowning.

This high-energy performance transforms the stage into a twisted carnival, where a delightfully deranged clown leads audiences through magical surprises, physical comedy, and moments of apparent danger. Blending mime, dark humour, and freak-show theatricality, the show shifts between playful charm and gleeful chaos—inviting audiences to laugh, gasp, and surrender to the unexpected.

Strange Magician (2023)

PLAYgorund Theatre (Taipei)

A darkly comic exploration of curiosity, bodily limits, and the desire to watch.

Blending bizarre magic, absurd humour, and sideshow performance, Tu Strange confronts audiences with the seemingly impossible: swallowing needles, eating nails, and consuming glass. Beneath these unsettling feats lies a question—not only why a performer would attempt them, but why an audience wants to watch. Through moments of tension, disbelief, and unexpected laughter, the work explores how visceral reactions can lower our defences and open a space for human connection.
